Where did the week go?
Much apologies to my audience of three for not posting anything in nearly a WEEK! The first half of the week was spent cramming for a muscle test in Anatomy (of which I got a 98% so all is calm in the universe), then the latter half of the week was spent planning a road trip to Louisville with my little brothers. One of the brothers has landed a sweet internship with Walgreen's in the fine city of Louisville (pronounced with a bit of drunken slur as Loouhvull) so of course we had to have an excuse to road trip down there, and we dragged the baby brother along for the ride as well. Here are some photos from the trip...Loouhvull is much like Indy on many levels, but it stands out for their Louisville Waterfront Park, which, per my brother, was designed by the same dude who did Central Park. The park was pretty sweet, and given the gor-ge-ous weekend, we stopped in at Dick's Sporting goods to score a Frisbee and tossed it around in the park long enough to get sunburned. Then came time for big sis to put little brothers in funny poses to take pictures for collateral...

Given our three day stay, there wasn't too much time to explore the local venues for food. We tried out a local brewery so I could add to the pint collection at home. Our greatest find of the weekend was Graeter's Ice Cream. Apparently there is another way to make ice cream - the French Pot way - and I am a huge fan, especially of the Chocolate Coconut Almond Fudge! The rule for the weekend was we would not eat at any chains, but then I broke my own rule when I spotted a CPK! Since my brothers love me, they let me go so I could have my Waldorf Chicken Salad (mmmmm!). (Don't worry, we love our baby brother so we did tell him he had a HUGE green thing stuck in his retainer).
