A Very Random Post
I think to make this picture just perfect, there needs to be choirs of angels singing a beautiful song about beer...describing all of beer's beautiful colors, smells, and, of course, tastes! Featuring in this pic is Mad Anthony's IPA as well as my hot husband. The fact the beer is more in focus than my husband DOES not mean I love beer more than my husband...it merely suggests it.My secret life as a student is winding down with finals (YIKES!) in the next couple of weeks. (Hence the lack of blogging being replaced by lots of stressing). This summer I am taking just an on-line Human Development class so should be fun and no classroom commitment - YEAH! Chris is still brewing beers like crazy, and in his spare time rotating through our various Indianapolis hospital systems. He will soon be surpassing his 3rd Year Medical Student title and entering his "Sub-I" years aka 4th Year Medical Student. So, you will likely start seeing a trend of panic posts inquiring WHERE ARE WE GOING!? He is pretty confident (99.9999%) that ER is where he is heading so now its a matter of where and who will take him. A big thing apparently for 4th year is to do an away rotation so he will be leaving me (again!) for one month to travel to another state to wow an ER program in hopes of obtaining a kick-ass letter of recommendation or perhaps a "make sure to rank us on your list for next March (Match Day)."
The only other thing is putting in some long runs on Sunday to gear up for the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon, which is merely a stepping stone in training for the Chicago Marathon. I am just hoping my knees will hang in there! Oh, yeah, and I still have braces - next Tightening D-Day is May 10th.
And, finally, I want to tell the person who parked really, really close to my car yesterday that you are correct I was cursing your no-name UNTIL I get to my door and see a tiny piece of paper sticking out of my door. You took the time to write me to say "Sorry for parking so close. I had to get my van into a parking spot and had to park close because of the car on the other side" - that made my day. I just hope you got my note back that said "No problem. Thanks for leaving a note" See how communication can alleviate anger and make things go better?

What a cute picture of Uncle Chrissy and his second true love. I'm sure finals will be a non-issue for you. And then after, we are excited to host you and your husband's gigantic nose here in Delanowhere!
But! Perhaps before then, we will be seeing each other. Mike seems to think he will be heading to Illinois for research purposes around the first week of May, and that he will drop myself and the babies off at Meemaw and Poppop's house. Wouldn't that be fun?
i sympathize with you and your finals. right now instead of writing a paper, i am reading your blog. i hope you are more productive than i am.
let me know if chris is looking into doing an away rotation at unc or duke!
