Chris's Birthday is coming up which led him to go on mad Internet searches to determine what latest, greatest piece of technology he must have since his Birthday is one of two times during the year (the other being Christmas) where I am at weakest to say "No, we can't afford that!"

At first, I thought he had his eyes on some nice $100 iPod speakers so that he can listen to music on his upcoming away rotation. I should have listened to myself and just bought the damn speakers because now he/we are proud owners of a Canon Digital Rebel XT:
