Back to Work

Missed two whole days of work, took 1/2 day to get caught up - makes me wonder if anyone would even notice if I only showed up for three days a week? Granted, the rest of Indiana slowed down as well due to the snow. I swear these billing offices are the modern day factories of our US industry. If you haven't stepped inside one, let me describe it to you. Cubicles upon cubicles of people staring at computer screens, typing on keyboards at full speed, shuffling large piles of paper from one desk to the next. I imagine in less than 10 years, we wil all be outsourced to other countries. Three highlights today - one random was I stumbled upon an article I had published in graduate school. Or, I should rephrase - a paper I did an enormous amount of data piling only to have my name slapped on the end among some famous names within the Healthcare Quality field - was published. The second, I did my little volunteer gig at Dayspring, and had a lady ask me how I have so much energy in just serving dinner to them - I said it was due to coffee, but truth be told - I don't drink coffee. And lastly - I SCORED A 92% ON MY ANATOMY TEST (class average 78%)!!!!

However, even with all the good, I would have given anything to trade places with Sparky today.
